While most people prefer to eat home cooked food, it can be time consuming to prepare food, making the spices, gravy. To get a variety of pickle it is advisable to check the various exhibitions which are periodically held in Panaji, goa where the self help groups and other organizations stock a wide variety of pickles. Some of the self help groups also offer home made pickles, however the packaging is not very good , as they use plastic bags
